FORMERLY THE ATLANTA JEWISH MUSIC FESTIVAL
Celebrating Jewish contributions to music and culture
Neranenah (Hebrew: נְרַנְּנָה) means “to come together and sing.
We honor tradition, but are far from traditional. Our minds and ears are open; the fingerprints of Jewish culture can be found all around us. We seek not to define Jewish arts and culture, but to embrace its diversity, subjectiveness, and personal nature to create a space open and inviting to all.
Kol
(everything/voice)
קוֹל
We emphasize the contributions and influence of Jewish people on music and culture, but our organization exists for everyone. Neranenah is where every voice can come together and sing.
L’dor V’dor
(from generation to generation)
לְדוֹר וָדוֹר
Jewish music and cultural traditions are meant to be shared and celebrate. We take seriously the responsibility of passing along traditions and knowledge to the next generation and encourage creative evolution so they may stay alive for more to come. We may not be traditional in our approach, but we believe in the traditions.
Chofesh
(freedom)
חֹפֶשׁ
There is freedom at Neranenah. Freedom to express, believe and explore what feels right to your personal creative and spiritual journey.
Neranenah shares and celebrates Jewish heritage through quality music and artistic experiences.
